Houston’s Food Trucks are Going to the Dogs

There’s a new food truck coming to Houston that customers will be chasing after as it rolls through their neighborhood.

Natural Pawz, Houston’s largest locally owned all natural pet supply store is debuting the Pawz Treat Truck this month at the 33rd Annual K-9 Fun Run, sponsored by the Houston Humane Society on Sunday, March 23rd. The dog treat truck offers a one of a kind experience for local area dogs and their owners. The Pawz Treat Truck will be parked outside the event at Sam Houston Park (1000 Bagby St, Houston, Tx 77002) offering it’s four legged customers ice cream, treats and bones, and other bite size snacks. A percentage of the day’s proceeds will benefit the Houston Humane Society.

“We’re excited about the launch of the Pawz Treat Truck,” stated Natural Pawz co-owner Biff Picone. “With the positive response we’ve seen with people food trucks in Houston, it was just a given that local area dogs should have one of their own.”

The Pawz Treat Truck will visit Houston area dog parks, festivals, food truck parks and charity events throughout the year. Natural Pawz is dedicated to helping animals in need. The Pawz Treat Truck will be an extension of their charitable efforts by providing a portion of the proceeds to benefit local area non-profit organizations and rescue groups. To date, Natural Pawz has donated over 75,000 pounds of pet food, and over $15,000 to local and national pet causes.
